Where Are the Sessions?

We all know that college is a busy time. But, as educators, we also recognize that consistency is necessary for students. That’s why our sessions are held via private video conference. This allows us to meet regularly, build a routine, and adapt to your college student’s hectic schedule. It also means they can receive the support they need in the place that works best for them, whether it’s in their dorm room, library, or off-campus apartment, or even when they’re visiting home.

How Does It Work?

After an initial assessment, we start by meeting with your college student once per week. Over time, as they feel more confident with their choices, schedule, and ongoing challenges, they will need to check-in less and less. However, because undergraduate life isn’t without its curveballs, students can always reach out to us at any time to book a new session. We’re here to guide and support them whenever they need help.

We Keep Undergrads Connected, Updated, & On Track

We send undergrads weekly emails and check-ins via text. Reminders help students prepare for the next session, keep on task, and stay focused on their goals. Our team and your college student’s consultant are here to answer your questions and discuss any concerns you might have, too. Students can always connect with us by email or phone and, as always, via video conference.

How long is each session?

Each undergraduate coaching session lasts thirty minutes. We typically meet three times per week to start and then biweekly once the student feels comfortable.

Will they do well with video conferencing?

We have to give them credit—most young adults are video conferencing virtuosos. Most of the enrolled undergrads who work with us connect to their sessions on their smart phones. In fact, they often find this approach incredibly convenient.

Do you help students with learning differences?

We do help students with learning differences. However, we do ask that you have a free consult with us before we begin working with you. This will allow us to properly assess whether or not our services will be a good fit for your child and their specific needs. And, if for some reason we’re not a perfect match for you, we’ll be more than happy to refer you to someone who can help.
