How much does private test prep tutoring cost?
Our private, one-on-one test prep tutoring is available at $150 per hour. You can also purchase a Bundle Package of 4 sessions for $560 or a Bundle Package of 8 sessions for $1,090.
How do I register my child?
You can start the registration process by filling out our Summer 2023 Registration Form. A member of our team will reach out soon thereafter to answer your questions and confirm your registration.
How long are my child’s test prep tutoring sessions?
Most of our private, one-on-one test prep tutoring sessions are 60 minutes long. However, we often create customized learning plans and can typically accommodate the length of a session to meet your child’s unique needs.
How qualified is my child’s tutor?
At Vested Academics, we believe that educational credentials count. All our private test prep tutors have master’s degrees or higher in their respective fields and a minimum of 10 years of experience. They have worked with all types of learners and know how to keep students engaged, on task, and goal-oriented.
How often will my child meet with their tutor?
While we often suggest beginning with 1 or 2 tutoring sessions per week, our team regularly designs customized learning plans, allowing us to tailor your child’s schedule to meet their specific educational goals.
We’re traveling this summer. Do you provide online tutoring, too?
Yes, absolutely! Whether packing your bags for the summer or looking to reduce your commute, your child’s tutor will happily meet with them via private, secure video conference.
Do you offer practice tests?
Yes, we do! Your child’s test prep tutor will help you determine the right time to take a practice test. This approach not only gives your child the space they need to build new skills but also affords their tutor with the information they need to effectively assess progress.
What will my child’s tutor cover during a test prep session?
Each student has unique scoring goals. Our team will review your child’s target score, timeline, and current ability level and offer a suggested study plan. With this logic, the typical session often focuses on improving either math or verbal skills. However, we can adapt to a given student’s learning style, allowing for a more customized approach.
