Vested Academics

Throughout his career, Joseph has assisted a diverse population of clients, including parents, high school students, undergrads, adult learners, international students, and aspiring healthcare professionals. While at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Anna Maria College (Paxton, MA), and Maria College (Albany, NY), he regularly taught financial literacy. Whether offered privately in the office setting or as part of a group presentation, his instruction has helped thousands of families understand the basics of financial aid, explore various resources, and make informed decisions.

During his time at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Joseph also founded the university’s Financial Aid Street Team—a service designed to improve financial aid literacy among currently enrolled undergraduate students.

A regular volunteer at FAFSA Day Massachusetts—a program affiliated with College Goal Sunday—Joseph offers guidance to local families in need of support. His pro bono work has also brought him to several high schools and colleges in Massachusetts, including Attleboro High School, Quinsigamond Community College (Worcester, MA), and Bristol Community College (Fall River, MA).

When he’s not steering families away from money pits, Joseph can be found playing with his daughter, Sonia, nose-deep in a good book, or looking forward to his husband Michael’s good cooking.
